Umpiring Module for Secondary & JC Students

Venue : Kallang Netball Centre

The ACTive School Mentors Programme is a Sports Partnership Promotion Programme conducted by Netball Singapore and funded by Singapore Sports Council.
Objective The programme aims to develop students who are interested in netball with the knowledge of umpiring. At the end of workshop, students will be awarded – Orientation to Umpiring certification ( 100% attendance required).
Pre-requisites for this Training Programme
• This course is designed for students who have played the game for at least 2 years.
• Participants have to be netball players who are may or may not be in the school team.
Duration
• The umpiring module will have 3 sessions.
• The first two sessions will be 3 hours long.
• The last session will be a theory test for the students.
Number of Participants
• To ensure maximum learning and adequate attention given to all participants, the recommended size for each class should not have more than 35 students and a minimum number of 15 participants.
Cost
• Each participant has to pay $25 for the module .This includes the course materials, hand grip whistle and rule book.Registration
